Josh Simmons has a new graphic novel from Fantagraphics titled “Jessica Farm”. Fantagraphics is calling it a “Lynchian take on Alice in Wonderland”. For those familiar with Simmons, ‘Lynchian’ may seem like a tepid descriptor but his work does often evoke a singular type of surreal dream logic and dread. Fantagraphics is also quick to point out that this project took the author 24 years to put together characterizing it as “career spanning”.
